What services do you offer?
We help with accounting, bookkeeping, QuickBooks setup, Jobber CRM setup, payroll, reporting, and operational support. With over 20 years of experience, if it involves the back office, we’ve probably done it.
What is fractional support?
It’s like having a part-time CFO or operations manager without hiring full-time. You get expert help when you need it, without the overhead of hiring another W-2 worker and providing desk space or equipment. While we certainly need time to learn more about your particular business, many busy business owners find a lot of benefit in not having to spend time teaching a new hire “the ropes” – especially if they’ve been doing everything themselves and don’t have a clear idea of everything this person should be doing.
Do you offer one-time projects or just ongoing support?
We do both. Some clients want help getting caught up or setting things up right. Others want long-term help every month. We’re flexible.
Can you clean up my books from last year (or the year before)?
Absolutely. If your books are a mess or you’ve fallen behind, we’ll roll up our sleeves and get them cleaned up. This is generally handled with a separate project charge in addition to your monthly retainer, but we can also provide a no-obligation referral to tax professionals who can help you if this is all you’re looking for.
Do you handle payroll and 1099s?
Yes! We’ll make sure your people get paid and your contractors get their 1099s on time. We also provide no-obligation referrals to HR professionals who can help you with more complex payroll tasks, such as compensation studies, and detailed executive job descriptions.
Can you help me find technicians, salespeople, and other workers?
We can advise on basic search techniques, and work closely with some area HR professionals who can assist with this if you’re needing to perform a more detailed search.
What software do you work with?
We mostly use QuickBooks Online, but we also work with Xero, Gusto, Jobber, and other tools depending on your setup, including property management software.
What does operations support mean exactly?
It covers scheduling, job tracking, vendor coordination, field staff support, system setup—you name it. We help your office run smoother with hands-on help and software to help automate and organize these processes.
Can you help us document processes or automate tasks?
Yes, we love this stuff. We’ll help you build SOPs and show you where you can save time with automation or better tools.
Do you offer financial consulting too?
Yep! We can help with budgeting, forecasting, dashboards, and strategy—especially helpful if you’re trying to grow or get more efficient.
Will you help me understand my numbers?
Yes. We don’t just input data—we walk you through the reports so you understand what’s going on in your business.
How do we stay in touch with you?
We use email, Google Meet, and shared folders (like Google Drive). We’re easy to reach and happy to work your way. For our retainer clients, we typically set up a regular weekly meeting to touch base and answer questions.
Do you work onsite or remote?
Mostly remote, but if you’re nearby and need us in person from time to time, we’re open to that.
What does onboarding look like?
We start with a quick discovery call, get access to your systems, and prioritize what needs attention first. It’s simple and fast.
What kinds of businesses do you work with?
We mostly work with trades, home services, property managers, and small-to-mid-sized businesses. If you’re hands-on and need strong back-office help, we’re a fit.
How much does it cost?
