The Necessary Explosion app presents a unique Augmented Reality experience that transforms your turntable or environment into an immersive sculpture garden.

For Vinyl LP Owners:

This app is designed to be enjoyed in conjunction with the SOS vinyl LP, the debut album from Necessary Explosion. Users can initiate the experience effortlessly by placing the needle on the record and launching the app. By simply aiming a smartphone or tablet at the turntable, users will witness an engaging visualization of the album's tracks in augmented reality.

For Those Without the Vinyl LP:

Listeners without the physical record can still engage with the Necessary Explosion app. After installing the app on a mobile device or tablet, users can play the album via streaming services such as Apple Music, Spotify, SoundCloud, or for free on YouTube using a separate device or sound system (not the one running the app). Following this, users will be prompted to locate a flat surface to enhance their experience, where AR sculptures will materialize and rotate similarly to their real-world counterparts on a turntable.
