The OPWDD–NCCC Partnership for Systems Change, a partnership between the New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) and Georgetown University National Center for Cultural Competence (NCCC), was implemented from 2022–2025. The goal of the Partnership was to advance policies and practices of cultural and linguistic competence, diversity, equity, and inclusion across all components of New York State’s intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) system.
This site is an archive of resources developed through the Partnership and will remain available through 2031 to support OPWDD teams and the broader community.
The resources reflect a systems-change approach across three Components: OPWDD, persons with IDD and their families, and the IDD provider network.
