Mozambique’s southern provinces have begun shaping the revision of the national biodiversity strategy. A first regional consultation in Maputo set the priorities and activities that will feed into the country’s updated action plan.

Our work
The NBSAP Accelerator Partnership supports countries in accelerating the implementation of their National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plans (NBSAPs) by strengthening coordination, surfacing country-defined biodiversity needs, connecting them with relevant technical and financial partners, and providing in-country facilitation. The Accelerator brings together a wide range of stakeholders, promotes knowledge exchange, and creates enabling conditions for technical and financial support to materialise around country priorities.
