Who qualifies as a woman business owner?
Any individual who identifies as a woman who owns an equity interest in her business (sole proprietor, partner, LLC member, independent contractor or 5%+ corporate shareholder) and:
- Supports NAWBO’s mission and vision
- Files business taxes (Schedule C/F, 1099’s or corporate/LLC/partnership returns)
- Has a business office (including home offices)
- Participates in day-to-day and strategic decision-making
