Access Options

Navigator data is available in multiple formats to support a wide range of applications—from desktop GIS analysis to web and mobile application development. Each access method provides a different balance of flexibility, performance, and ease of integration, allowing users to choose the option that best fits their workflow. Whether you need full raw datasets, lightweight map layers, or on-demand API access, the formats below ensure that Navigator’s information can be efficiently incorporated into your tools and processes. File Download

Data can be shared as a file package in multiple formats, including:

  • Shapefile (boundaries) and CSV (attributes)
  • GeoJSON
  • Geodatabase (Esri)

Best for: users who want offline access, archival snapshots, or to work in desktop GIS tools or analysis environments without needing a live connection.

REST API

Documentation is available upon request.

Best for: developers building custom web or mobile applications, dashboards, or automated data pipelines.

Direct Database Connection

Materialized view (includes boundaries and attributes).

Best for: heavy GIS analysts, researchers, or organizations that want full, programmatic access to the raw underlying data for advanced spatial analysis or internal data-warehouse integration.

Vector Tiles

PMTiles and MBTiles available.

Best for: web map applications or mobile apps needing fast rendering of large spatial datasets, especially when showing many map tiles or zoom levels.
