The National Catalan Assembly is a democratic organization, peaceful and cross the Catalan people, comprising individuals. Unity in action and in the plural discussion, Regional Assemblies and Assemblies organized sector.It has its roots in the struggle and the will to resist the Catalan people to regain full sovereignty and freedom. The ANC has inherited the Assembly of Catalonia, born in Franco era, forty years ago, in order to restore freedom, democracy and self-determination of the Catalan people. It is mostly inherited, more recently, the process of consultation on independence, which began in Arenys de Munt, 10 July demonstration against the Constitutional Court by the State and the conference itself 30 April 2011.The ANC was formed on 10 March 2012 and aims to create the conditions necessary to achieve a social majority in favor of the independence of Catalonia, Catalan educate and mobilize people, to become a social force powerful enough to force politicians to hold a referendum on self-determination and unilaterally proclaimed independence.To achieve these objectives, the ANC is working and will work with the utmost generosity and always positive to get everyone join in this collective project, to add all forces to convince the public of the need to establish Catalonia independent state and to do so with the broadest possible consensus. We work to have their own state, with its full sovereign institutions, are able to ensure a better future for everyone who lives there.
