National Convention Live Auction

The National Convention Live Auction gives NAWCC members the opportunity to buy and sell horological items during an evening auction at the 2026 National Convention.

Who Can Participate

  • Only NAWCC members in good standing may buy or sell.
  • Wear your convention badge. Guests may attend but cannot bid.
  • Register for a bidder number: Friday, June 26, 6:00 to 7:00 PM.

How to Register Items

  • Fee: $15 per item if postmarked by Friday, June 12, 2026.
  • After that date or at the door: $20 per item.
  • Limit: Up to 10 items per member or business member.
  • The auction is limited to 100 horological items, so register early.

Important Auction Times

  • Item intake: Friday, June 26, 2:00 to 5:00 PM.
  • Viewing: 6:00 to 7:00 PM.
  • Auction starts: 7:00 PM.
  • Include a photo with your registration to help advertise your item.

Bidding & Selling Basics

  • Items sell to the highest bidder.
  • No reserves or hold prices.
  • No buyer’s premium.
  • Sellers may protect their own item.
  • The hammer price is the purchase price of record.
  • Sellers settle directly with buyers at the end of the auction.

Standards & Disclaimers

  • Provide accurate descriptions and follow the NAWCC Code of Ethical Conduct.
  • Items are sold “as is.” NAWCC and its volunteers are not responsible for condition, accuracy, or safety.
  • The Auction Committee may reject or withdraw any item at any time.
  • Announcements made the day of the auction supersede all printed information.
  • Participants agree to indemnify and hold NAWCC harmless from claims or losses, including illness or exposure risks.

What to Include with Your Mailing

  • Completed registration form or forms.
  • A photo for each item.
  • Check payable to “NAWCC 2026 National Convention.”
  • Item details, including approximate date, estimated value, type, condition, and description.

Information You’ll Provide on the Form

  • Your name, NAWCC number, address, phone, and email.
  • For each item: item number, approximate date, estimated value, and type.
  • Type may include clock, watch, tool, book, or other horological item.
  • Description with country of origin and whether original or reproduction.
  • Condition, including running status and any repairs or restorations.
  • Total number of items and total fees due.
