N-616 are back with their new album, "Braindance". Known for their ability to meld futuristic soundscapes with the raw intensity of metal, N-616 takes listeners on a sonic journey where the neon-lit streets of cyberpunk dystopias intersect with the melancholic depth of 90s gothic-doom classics.

"Braindance" weaves a rich tapestry of contrasts: pulsating electronic beats and industrial aggression meet haunting melodies and heavy, atmospheric riffs. Drawing inspiration from the cyberpunk aesthetic and science fiction’s existential questions, the album explores themes of humanity’s fragility in the face of relentless technological evolution. At the same time, the dark, brooding undercurrents nod to the gothic traditions of bands like Tiamat, fusing nostalgia with a futuristic edge.

With Braindance, we wanted to push the boundaries of what cyberpunk metal can sound like, it is not just about dystopian imagery or synthetic sounds, it is about capturing the tension between human emotion and cold machinery, between the past we mourn and the future we fear.
