My Journey Doing The 52 Book Club Challenge 2025 || Reader Archives

Have your friends ever given up on you? If no, I think you should experience it at least once in your life, just to see how resilient you are in life. I was in extreme joy when my friend Manjushree, suggested that we do the 52 Book Club 2025 Readathon challenge. Every time me and my close set of friends decide to try something new, I’m the most enthusiastic one.

Su From So || Before, During and After Movie Review

In the rain, a five-minute drive became a 20-minute one, with all vehicles stuck in a honking frenzy. We were trying to get to the movie theatre near our home to watch the movie “Su From So”

Extraordinary You || An Extraordinary K-drama Review

Well, everyone, here is another K-drama review that has my heart. Starting with this cute gif from the K-drama, let’s talk about this one and why you should watch it. Before that, is this K-drama underrated? I really don’t know. I think not, but here is a review anyway to make you give it a chance, just in case you haven’t watched it.

I watched this K-drama first while it was ongoing and the agony of waiting for two episodes every week was very real. At one point I didn’t even wait for subtitles and just watched the raw episodes as they were, with my power to understand how much I could.

We will talk all about this K-drama and more but before that I want to make something clear, I have re-watched this K-drama at least four times and I will probably watch it again in the future. I will tell you all about all the good, bad, and weird things about this K-drama.

ACCIDENTALLY WITH AN ICE CREAM

The sun was blindingly bright, I was sweating buckets, well… maybe three buckets and the sunshine was exactly in my eyes, in the direction that I was walking. Even more annoyingly I was late, terribly and fascinatingly late to the irregular public bus that would take me exactly one mile near to my home, from where I had to harrowingly walk more in the blasted sun. This is what happens when extra classes are cancelled and you have to go home early, unlike me, my farsighted friends knew this would happen today and warned me to not attend classes today but I had to exchange the novel in my library and hence I fell into this painstaking situation. You might think I’m exaggerating, thinking she’s no Milkha Singh or Helen Keller to be acting out, but this is this how it feels at twelve in the afternoon walking in a dusty road filled with honking vehicles, the smoky air, the hot asphalt and the blindingly bright sun. On a good note, there are two pleasures in this hard journey and they are the two minute walk under the trees that comes in-between my college and the bus stop and the songs blasting through my earphones drowning out the noise of my messy city life.

How To Read A Book by Mortimer J Adler and Charles Van Doren || Smart Reader Archives

Imagine reading a 400-odd-page book, for a week to be exact. A woman who finishes a 300-page book in a day, easily, if left alone, took a week to read this 400-page book and I completely understand why.

I borrowed this book from Sumedha, exactly a year and a half ago (Ya ya I know! Don’t judge me) and I recently made up my mind and time to read this wonderful book called ‘How To Read A Book’.

Well, it sounded questionable initially because, How to read a book? Seriously? Don’t I know how to read a book for a person who reads an average of at least 80 books per year?

Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin || A love stricken book review

After a long time, I mean a very long time, a book made me say “Wah! That is so beautiful!”

The word beautiful is the perfect word for this wonderful book. Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin is a book that surpasses the mundane feel of reading a book and just made me deeply feel every part of the book. If, me, who is video game handicapped, had this incredible urge to play video games then just wonder how powerful this book is.
