I used to have this installed but had to totally reset my computer bc its old. Now I can't redownload this application? I use my camera all the time, and I would be super bummed if I can't anymore. Please let me know another way to download it or if it's gone for good. Thanks!

MyDSC2 is a utility developed to work with all major digital still cameras. In order to solve the connection error, right-click the Computer/My Computer icon, select Manage and open Device Manager. Expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers list, right-click on the driver and select Uninstall. Reboot your computer, connect the camera using the USB cable, press Scan for hardware changes icon from Device Manager and wait for Windows to retrieve the drivers. If it doesn't help, open the camera drive from Computer/My Computer and transfer the photos using Copy/Paste feature.
I installed it and I received an error. Can you help?

If you're using Windows XP or below, I suggest you update Windows Installer using the package provided by Microsoft. If you're using Windows Vista or above, update it through Windows Update. After that, uninstall the application and reinstall it using Administrator rights. If it still doesn't work, it means that the application is not compatible with your system.
I have a Pink Diamonte DSC2 and I have taken 4 photos so far. Also, I have downloaded and installed the MyDSC2 software from the disc. I clicked the icon at the bottom that says Download Photos, I connected my camera through the USB cable, but when I click Download it is saying that "There is a connection error. Please check the troubleshooting guide in the Users Manual". I no longer have the user manual. What can I do?

In order to fix the issue, navigate to Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Device Manager, expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers list, right-click on the driver and select Uninstall. Reboot your computer, connect the device using the USB cable, press Scan for hardware changes icon from Device Manager and wait for Windows to retrieve the drivers. Also, configure your security program and Windows Firewall to allow MyDSC2 to communicate. If it doesn't work, uninstall and then install the utility again. Alternatively, go to My Computer/Computer, open the camera drive and transfer the photos using the Copy/Paste feature.
