Groupon Redemption Guide
⚠️ Essential Check Before You Start
- Your redemption code must start with gr, such as grteen… or grtxade…
- Do not use Groupon voucher numbers starting with VS
- If another coupon is already applied in your cart, remove it first
- Make sure the Groupon voucher you purchased matches the exact product already added to your cart, or the code will not work
Step 1: Add the Correct Product to Your Cart
Your Groupon code only works with the matching product. Click the correct link below to add the matching product to your cart.
- grbund → Bundle: Online Permit Education for Teen Drivers In CA (DMV Approved, Recommended) → Add to cart
- grteen → CA Driver’s Online Ed, Study Guide, and Certificate (DMV Approved) → Add to cart
- gr100 → California Driver’s Online Practice Tests and Study Guide (No Certificate) → Add to cart
- grtxtde → Texas Teen Driver’s Education (24 Hour Online Course) → Add to cart
- grtxade → Texas Adult Driver’s Education (6 Hour Online Course) → Add to cart
- grtxprac → Texas Permit Test Practice and Study Guide → Add to cart
Step 2: Find Your “gr” Redemption Code
This is the most common issue. Groupon may show more than one number on your voucher, but the only code that works on MyDrivePermit is the one that starts with gr.
Examples: grbund…, grteen…, gr100…, grtxtde…, grtxade…, grtxprac…
- Log in to your Groupon account
- Go to My Groupons
- Open your purchase and click View Voucher or See Details
- Copy the code that starts with gr
- Do not use the Groupon voucher number starting with VS
Step 3: Complete Checkout and Registration
- Apply Code: Paste your gr redemption code into the coupon box and click Apply
- Copy and Paste: This helps avoid errors with similar looking characters such as I, i, and 1
- Student Details: Enter the student’s full legal name and date of birth carefully
- Shipping: If your course includes a mailed certificate, double check your shipping address
For certificate courses, student information may be used for official certificate processing, so please review it carefully before placing your order.
