The MV Start app assists in the calculation of tidal volume to be administered to patients undergoing mechanical ventilation. Has the following objectives: To calculate the tidal volume To suggest initial parameters for mechanical ventilation To provide directions and goals of mechanical ventilation Features: Selection of the formula to calculate Ideal Body Weight (Devine, Robinson, Miller or Broca) Input Height and Gender of the patient Selection of the Target Tidal Volume per kilogram Calculation of Tidal Volume Calculation of Ideal Weight Reference Guide literature (Indications and Objectives) Option to indicate the application by e-mail.

Requires iOS 5.1 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
