Good grief, it's already the end of October. One last week before November. Let's see what all went down within the past few months:

- Went to two birthday parties for a pair of nieces (one in August, one at the beginning of this month)
- Helped decorate for the latter birthday party (Mickey Mouse theeeeme it was like goth McDonald's and I got stuck on a ladder for half of it)
- Actually went swimming. In October. Because SoCal has no idea what Fall is. I stayed in the pool for two hours, I'm sure.
- Spent most of the month doing the Inktober thing (which is all posted on instagram and linked to my FaceBase and tumblr). Missed one day so far, but I've been at it! Great way to force myself to draw again.
- Giant Robot Biennale 4 is up and running at the museum. Clement let me hoard the sketchpad that was there for the guests for a bit. There's a catch to it – if you draw in it, you're in for consideration for any future GB art gallery things. HERE'S TO TRYING. I may draw more later.
- RAIN!?!? IN MY STATE!?!? NO. YEEEEES.
- Another birthday family gathering come Sunday! One of our uncles. The other uncle had his earlier in the month. There are so many October birthdays, I don't even.
- I'm going to get my wisdom teeth extracted on Monday??? Help

That's about it for now. I'm glad the weather's starting to even out. But HO BOY November and December are right there.

The month flew by while plodding its way along like nothing was happening. I guess that's what happens when things are still busy after the holidays have passed.

Went to LACMA yesterday to see the Samurai Exhibit they had on display. Pretty armors and helmets! I want to draw armor. Then we went to Farmer's Market to eat. And it rained. Yay!

Motivation goes through ups and downs. Trying to draw and write in general. It hasn't been cooperating, but still trucking along.

One day I'll figure out this game of Who's Who on MU*s.

While I've been given some information just by asking, I just need a whole cheat sheet to recognize how I know or where I've seen similar personalities.

Hi I'm still alive.

Yes, I'm still playing SWTOR. I'm stuck in Quesh because the Enemies for my Jedi Consular (Klement) storyline are silver and gold stars and they keep ganging up on me because I can't knock one of them out.

Also, since I've been sending Klem down the Dark Side, his discoloration of his skin sort of freaked me out when I realized I didn't turn off that feature.

Just caught up. I know this all deals with the occult, witchcraft, and references to Revelations, but I really like the character dynamics.

- I really, really like Ichabod Crane Aya said he's like one of my characters OH NO
- I like the sister relationship between Abbie and Jenny.
- I can't unsee Orlando Jones as the 7 Up Spokesman and the projection Vox 114 from the 2002 version of The Time Machine. [Edit: We also feel he knows more than he lets on. Note to self: keep an eye on him.]

I...I think I finished writing something I worked on for three months.

I'm all like "I should share this" and "nononocat" at the same time.

So I started playing Fire Emblem Awakening.

I made a guy strategist and named him Sens. He is pale-skinned and dark-haired, though. Which is...weird. BUT his personality is actually really fitting and it amuses me to no end.

I also can't play this game on hard mode because everything I touch dies.

It was traumatizing watching the Wall/Tank of my party die in one battle. I'm not even that far in and I died twice in a major chapter.

Oops.
