Our origins in disaster chaos

AtRisk Registry is a cloud-based SaaS system developed in the wake of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. When a large number of at-risk patients were unaccounted for, impacted organizations in the greater New Orleans area collaborated with AtRisk Registry to create this solution.

In the years and disasters that followed, AtRisk Registry was tested and refined. The solution was so effective, the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals legislated it to be a mandatory part of the state’s disaster readiness plan.

How AtRisk Registry works

Vulnerable patients and their information are added when notified of an impending evacuation.

  • Sign in to the secure cloud-based portal
  • Add vulnerable patients’ contact information, locations, caregiver information and critical care details like. Required medical equipment.
  • Attach documents as needed
  • Update it weekly
  • Update it at the time of disaster or evacuation notification
  • Automatically send updates to local emergency management departments and anyone else identified for notification
  • Emergency managers can use preloaded information to plan at-risk patient evacuation and recovery efforts
