    2008-2014 Pet projects

    Self-taught and disciplined

Learning programming through personal projects. Dozens of books read and courses completed. Building media projects in the era of the "wild internet" with heavy traffic and complex marketing; games that spread across torrents by the thousands; wins in programming competitions, administrating niche communities.

    2015-2018 Foundation and freelance

    From graphics to UX/UI

Countless courses, intensives, and marathons. Sheets of paper covered in sketches, liters of paint, brushes worn down. First launched online stores with my design, testing theories, A/B testing conversion elements, print design, and designing physical retail spaces.

  2. Вадим
    2014-2020 Freelance

    Direct with the client

Working directly with clients, in startup teams, continuing to develop personal tools and services. Deepening academic study of the craft. Understanding the pains and needs of businesses at different scales – from building an online solution for a local electronics retail chain, to working as a specialized auditor for Ukraine's #1 Asian cuisine restaurant chain.

    Анастасия
    2018-2023 Foundation

    Academic base and practice

Honors degree from a top university specializing in design in Ukraine, with an average score of 97 out of 100. Speaking at conferences, publishing design research in academic journals, developing a proprietary methodology. Working on large-scale startups worldwide – from a marketplace in Australia to collateral materials for a crypto conference in California.

  3. Вадим
    2020-2025 Professional growth

    Chief Architect / CTO

Building and managing a development team; leading development from small websites to high-load media platforms with 2M+ MAU, AI solutions and complex systems on a modern stack; custom CRM systems, smart data aggregators, social networks handling peak loads of 100K+ concurrent users on modest server resources. Writing numerous internal tools to optimize workflows, introducing and prioritizing new solutions in the stack and workflow. Optimizing processes to handle 20+ custom projects per week with limited team and client resources.

    Анастасия
    2021-2025 Senior Designer

    Part-time, personal clients

Dozens of simple and dozens of complex projects – from landing pages to intricate design systems for e-commerce; application-ready design; working with major media clients with a combined 2 billion YouTube views; designing UX/UI for projects that went viral with incredible conversion rates, including a personal pet project Web Mini App; improving LTV and other Business Health metrics; merch development; participation in numerous charity projects; guiding client development teams through my design.

Today

MUDRAVA

We are an IT boutique of two. We discuss, we build, and we answer – ourselves. No handoff to a "team," no broken telephone. We have our own interesting projects, services, and open-source work. We don't just grow ourselves – we strive to advance technology in our field and beyond, and help others.

Fix

We rescue projects that failed with others. When deadlines are blown, budgets are inflated, and the result doesn't work – we restore control and bring it to a production-ready state. We resurrect even what was never alive.

Scale

We build architecture ready for growth. Not just "fix it," but make the product withstand exponential user growth without rewriting from scratch. Not just advising to expand the cluster, but squeezing the maximum from what you have. Not just suggesting more expensive ads, but extracting 110% from the marketing base you already have.

01
Zero broken telephone
Those who do the work ↔ the one who pays and makes the decisions.
02
Fixed price
The price is locked. Our mistakes are at our expense. Scope changes on your side are estimated separately.
03
100% on time
A deadline is a deadline. Realistic estimates with a buffer are built in from the start. A junior won't go MIA on us – because we don't have one.
04
110%
You get more than you expected. A functional bonus. We enjoy working with you? We want to give you a pleasant surprise.

The Duo

Design and architecture live side by side

This gives speed, but more importantly – precision. There's no gap between what's envisioned and what actually gets built. Everything is thought through from the start – from "how to design it and how it affects conversion" to "how to fit it into the stack and how it impacts load."

What it feels like for the client
01
Decisions are made fast
Questions don't travel down a chain. We discuss and lock in the decision immediately.
02
Design stays grounded in reality
We design what will be implemented cleanly, without "we'll figure it out later" compromises.
03
Accountability is not diluted
If something is off, you talk to the authors of the decision. No one in between.
Anastasia - Lead Designer / UX Strategist

Anastasia

Lead Designer / UX Strategist

11 years in design. Every detail has a purpose.

Design as a system
I build interfaces that stay cohesive even as the product grows.
UX decides
Beautiful matters, but what matters more is clear, fast, convenient, and converting.
Details
Microcopy, grid, states, consistency. That's where premium quality and effectiveness live.
Design is engineered to work and solve a business problem, not just because "I feel like it."
Vadym - Chief Architect / Ex-CTO

Vadym

Chief Architect / Ex-CTO

18 years in IT. Architecture built to withstand growth.

Architecture first
I plan for growth upfront so the product doesn't need rewriting when it takes off.
Reliability under load
I think of performance and resilience as standard, not as an add-on.
Instant answers
Questions about code and decisions get answered by the person who made them.
I know every decision in the project because I made it. I don't check with the team – I am the team.

Zero broken telephone

No broken telephone in either direction

In a typical setup, you communicate with people who don't do the work – they pass your words down the chain and bring back an answer, wasting time, losing accuracy, and billing you for this game of broken telephone instead of direct communication at no extra charge. With our approach, you talk to the people who do the work.

Typical

Many links. Many distortions. Little accountability.

Result

We work best with those who make the decisions. It's faster, more honest, and calmer for everyone. And yes, the top diagram doesn't even show the longest possible chain – it's actually a fairly optimized version.

Quality bar

Our quality standard

We promise predictability, transparency, and no hidden agendas. Below is what we consider the baseline minimum for you.

Architecture

We design systems to survive growth, changes, and real production – accounting for your current load plus a margin on top if the project is already live, or calculating different scenarios with optimistic and pessimistic figures based on the data you have, if the project is yet to launch.

  • A plan for exponential growth without rewriting core components
  • Clear boundaries between modules and areas of responsibility
  • Performance, analytics, and security
UX and visual layer

Premium isn't gradients. Premium is clarity, consistency, and respect for the user – converted into actions that matter to you. Purchase, subscription, install, inquiry, signup, upsell, daily check-in, onboarding – whatever is primary for your product should be the goal of the interface.

  • Unified component and state system
  • Hierarchy, grid, typography, microcopy
  • Mobile first and accessibility as standard
Deadlines and predictability

We deliver on time and done right, which means we responsibly estimate the scope and our actual schedule for that period, accounting for risks and force majeure. We won't take your project on an unfamiliar stack just to promise delivery while sitting there learning how to implement it, hoping AI or "it'll probably be fine" will save the day. You're not buying vibe-coded hours. You're buying decades of combined commercial experience.

  • Realistic estimates with a buffer
  • Fixed scope and a clear change process
  • Regular updates and progress demos
Communication

We have no middlemen, managers, or managers-over-managers. So answers are short, precise, and come with full understanding of every detail – not from someone who mindlessly forwarded a Slack message from a developer to your chat. Feel that responsiveness? For your next question, you don't have to wait through X iterations of "You→account manager→PM→lead→junior→lead→PM→account manager→You."

  • Questions are answered by the author of the decision
  • We're honest about risks and limitations
  • No marketing BS – just facts

When I'm not in code

I collect vinyl and love symphonic concerts. I play Xbox, speedrun games, enjoy strategy games, and read both fiction and technical literature.

Sometimes I cook and go play table tennis or bowling with Nastya. It helps keep the rhythm and avoid burnout. Yes, I'm terrible at it – but unlike code, here it's not the result that matters, only the process.

When I'm not in Figma

I love creating coziness: lighting, plants, details. It genuinely changes your state of mind. Visiting new places, nature, promenades – they give a chance to reboot and see things from a fresh perspective.

I read a lot – currently finishing the "A Song of Ice and Fire" book series – and I'm constantly learning: courses, workshops, new approaches. I love symphonic concerts and theater.

Sometimes I just pick a topic and go deep. Typography, grids, microcopy. I love it when “beautiful” can be explained and proven.

Together

Laptops closed

Sometimes we read the same book and then discuss it. We go bowling, attend concerts and theater. We reply to emails from users of our projects.

And in the evenings – Netflix, family shows, and cats by our side.
