DONATE TO OUR CHAIRLIFT REPLACEMENT PROJECT
Mt. Ashland Ski Area is undertaking a transformative infrastructure project to replace its aging Ariel and Windsor Chairlifts, which are vital components of the Mountain’s lift system. Originally installed over 45 years ago, these lifts have served the Mountain and its visitors for decades but are now outdated, increasingly costly to maintain, and less efficient by modern standards. It is now time to build a reliable future for our community Mountain and ensure the next generation has the same access to winter adventure, learning, and joy that we’ve all experienced for decades!

OPERATING AS A NON-PROFIT
There is a common misconception that the Ski Area is city or community owned – and in some eras it had been – but since 2010, the Mt. Ashland Association has owned and operated the Ski Area and possessed its Special Use Permit with the United States Forest Service, for the benefit of the community as a whole. All of Mt. Ashland Ski Area’s revenue from both winter and summer operations is directly funneled back into paying employees a liveable wage and improving the guest experience through smaller improvement projects.
This is why donations to our Ski Area are critical in funding our larger Capital Project campaigns, providing scholarships for our student youth and summer camp programs, paying for recertification of our patrollers and so much more.
We truly can not do it without the support of our incredible community.
