Msxml4 SP2 refers to Microsoft XML Core Services (MSXML) 4.0 Service Pack 2, a Windows runtime that provides COM-based XML parsing, validation, and transformation (including DOM, SAX, XSLT 1.0, XPath 1.0, and XML Schema). It is often installed by legacy applications to satisfy XML processing dependencies and may appear under Piller Kft in inventories when redistributed as part of that vendor’s installer. SP2 delivered reliability and security updates over the original MSXML 4.0 release, but the MSXML 4.0 line is now deprecated and unsupported by Microsoft. For new development, Microsoft recommends using MSXML 6.0 or later. Uninstalling MSXML 4.0 SP2 can break older applications that still depend on it.
Msxml4 SP2 is developed by Piller Kft and is used by 26 users of Software Informer. The most popular versions of this product among our users are: 1.0 and 4.2. The names of program executable files are Sp532.exe, SP701.EXE.
