What Child is This

Old man winters wife-

Being overdue with child-

Last night delivered-

High Camp

Forested thickets-

Secluded quiet refuge-

Hearing the crickets-

Wheat Fields

Swirling dust devils-

Twisting turning racing past-

And dissipation-

Startled Hiker

Adrenalin pounding-

Grouse erupting under foot-

And glide down yonder-

Spring Swim Double

Dipping touch of toes-

Wading diving swim shivers-

Thrashing breathless heart-

Cool upriver breezes-

Chilling bones frigid retreat-

To warm fires and friends-

Stargazing

Stars gather my sight-

Indifferent to distance-

Collecting our thoughts-

Fishing

Find a quiet stream-

Sitting nicely on its banks-

Casting woes and stones-
