My name is Leah – teacher by day, avoider of housework by night. Who can relate?! This blog is dedicated to my drawing journey and learning how to turn it into a side hustle.
I teach for Adult Education, helping people of all ages reach their academic and career goals. I have always loved to learn new things, and what better way to earn a living than to teach others what I have learned. Over the years, this has included such things as Cord Cutting, Photoshop, and Line Dancing. Yes. That is quite the assortment of topics. But that is why I love my job! Things are always changing, and I don’t often have a chance to get bored.
I have always been interested in creative things: reading, writing, drawing, sewing, cooking, music, photo editing, and more. There are just so many things that I love to do, and who has time for all of them! Fortunately (or unfortunately) I get bored of things quickly and have all of these hobbies on rotation.
In 2020, I discovered digital art and began learning all I could about it. For the last year (probably the longest length of time I have spent on one thing), I have been exploring different styles to try and find what spoke to me. I am still not sure I have quite found it, but I have reached a point where I want to explore how to turn this hobby into a side hustle.
