Shipping Policy
At the Abbey of the Genesee, we do our best to ship our products in a timely manner so that they arrive as fresh as possible. We are a monastery, and our online orders are packed by monks, which means that we do not ship on Sundays and certain holy days. Never fear -- we are able to schedule our bread production and storage so that you can expect each loaf's best-by date to be twelve days after the day it ships.
In order for our bread to arrive with plenty of shelf life remaining, we are unable to ship it outside of the 48 continental United States. Our web host does not allow us to filter Alaska, Hawaii, or any overseas territories shipping addresses before a purchase is made, and there is currently no carrier who will make that trip in several days at a price we could offer our more local customers. If you order bread to one of those locations, we may regretfully have to cancel and refund your purchase.
