Monkey Hook

Monkey Hook is a platform game where you've got to help a monkey move around different settings on land, sea, and air. To do it you've got to swing from vine to vine without falling into the void.

To make your monkey jump from one vine to another you basically have to hold down and later release to propel him. This is why in Monkey Hook it's crucial to calculate the distance you have to cross to get to the next vine you need to grab.

Although the graphics are pretty basic – certainly not the best thing about Monkey Hook – the gameplay itself gives you all you need and makes this a terrifically fun title. The thing is that you don't just have to make the monkey jump. It's also important to collect as many plantains as possible while keeping your equilibrium in the air.

If you want to enjoy a game designed to deliver a good time through a simple gameplay, Monkey Hook does the job without excessive flourishes. Try to beat your record in each round and collect lots of plantains without falling into the void.
