The MBCC is a not-for-profit membership organisation established in 2009 to foster strong business links between Mongolia and the UK. It aims to provide a professional and social environment for business people who wish to be introduced to, and become part of, the British-Mongolian business culture and community.

 

Mongolian Government confirms visa free travel for 2026

Visitors from the United Kingdom and the European Union will continue to be able to visit Mongolia for up to 30 days on a tourist visa during 2026. Details can be found on the Mongolian Embassy’s website

A total of 850000 tourists ( about 6000 of whom were from Britain) visited the country in 2024, a 5% increase on the year before . The Mongolian Government has a target of 1 million rising to 2 million by 2035.

The Mongolian Chamber of Commerce partnered with the Mongolian embassy in London at an event at the Adventure travel show in London in January 2026

At the exhibition there was a fine example of a Mongolian / British partnership in action . More than a decade ago British citizen Anna Butler fell in love with Mongolia on a tour of the country . She later married Bold Purevdelger and together they set up leading adventure travel company Expat Mongolia

Early Summer 2026

The Chamber will hold a reception for members in London to wish Bon Voyage to the new British Ambassador before they take up their posting in Ulaanbaatar and also to welcome the new Mongolian Ambassador to the Court of St James .

 

In June 2026 the Chamber will be organising an event around the time of the opening by the Chinggis Khaan National Museum of a Chinggis Khaan exhibition at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds .

 

This will be followed by an exhibition exploring the influence of the Mongolian Empire on art at the Royal Society in London launching on February 24th 2027.
