What does it mean to be an Associate Producer? Becoming an Associate Producer means your name will appear in the official film credits. It’s your way of standing alongside thousands of mothers and allies demanding a country that values care and supports families. Whether you share your story, make a donation, or host a screening, your action makes this film (and movement) possible.
How can I get my name in the credits? There are three simple ways:
- Share Your Story: Write it or record a short video.
- Fund the Film: Donate $25 or more, gift a credit in honor of someone, or become a recurring donor.
- Host a Screening: Sign up to bring the film to your community in Summer 2026.
Once you take one of these actions, your name (or the name of the person you’re honoring) will be added to the film’s credits.
Is there a deadline to be included in the credits? Yes — we’re collecting names for a limited time while the film is still in production. Once the credits close, no additional names can be added. We encourage you to act now to make sure your name becomes part of this historic movement.
What is the Associate Producer Referral Challenge? The Associate Producer Referral Challenge is an opportunity for members of our community to help grow this movement by inviting other moms to become Associate Producers of our documentary about motherhood in America.
The referral challenge runs now through March 27.
Simply invite the moms in your network to become Associate Producers by sharing their story, signing up to host a screening, or making a donation. When they complete the form, they should list your name (or your organization’s name) in the “Who Referred You?” field.
Refer 10 moms and you (or your organization) will be recognized on our website as a Crowd Builder, honored for helping expand this movement and bring more voices into the film.
Refer 50 or more moms and, in addition to being featured on our site, you will receive a special gift from Moms First in recognition of your leadership.
I want to honor someone else — can I add their name instead of mine? You can gift-a-credit to a mom, mentor, caregiver, or ally who’s inspired you. Simply select “Dedicate My Donation” when making your donation, and we’ll include their name in the film’s credits in their honor. They will also receive an email to make them aware of your gift.
How will I know my name has been added? After you share your story, donate, or sign up to host a screening, you’ll receive confirmation. We’ll also share periodic updates about production milestones and when the official list of credited Associate Producers is finalized.
Where will the film be shown? The film will premiere nationwide beginning Summer 2026, followed by streaming and partner events. By hosting or attending a screening, you’ll help spread the movement and keep the conversation going long after the credits roll.
Can organizations or companies become Associate Producers? Yes. We welcome organizations, community groups, and businesses that believe in our mission to join as Associate Producers or sponsors. Please contact partnerships@momsfirst.us for custom partnership opportunities.
What if I can’t donate right now? That’s okay! Sharing your story or signing up to host a future screening are equally powerful ways to participate and both ensure your name appears in the film’s credits. Every action counts toward building this movement.
