To send money you need to link your PayPal account on PayPal.com. To receive money you do not need a linked PayPal account. If mobile money transfer recipient does not have a linked PayPal account a payment transaction will be delivered by PayPal to receiver’s mobile phone number or email specified by money sender.
MobiPay is a free app. All money transfers and payments are handled and securely processed by PayPal(subject to standard PayPal transfer fees). PayPal password is required when you login to your PayPal account to link it to your MobiPay profile. You do not share your PayPal password or any account information with MobiPay. No confidential information or any passwords are stored on your phone with MobiPay. You can unlink your PayPal account at any time on your PayPal page.
