Eep! Sorry for not posting. I mean, not that anyone is reading this anyway. ^.^ Alright, here's what's happened in a nutshell.

1. I got my guitar.


2. I get to re-do my room.


3. I'm officially addicted to challenge comms.


4. I hate my internet connection.


5. Went to camp, got back from camp.

That's pretty much it.

My guitar is pretty spiffy, tbh. =) It's a baby taylor that my mom found used online. It's mahogany, so it has a really awesome sound to it. I'm having trouble with some of the chords, but I know I need to keep working at it. After all, I haven't even had it a month. So give me a break.

Yup, I get to re-do my room. Right now it's all just little girly. Seriously. It's turquoise. Painted clouds on the ceiling, little flowers and lady bugs everywhere. Yes. That's why I'm so excited. It's going to be neon orange and hot pink. So yeah, it's going to be a big change.

I'm addicted to challenge comms. As of now I'm a member of eight....and I'm tempted to join more. I love them so much, it's a great atmosphere for me. I get to meet new people and complete challenges to help my team.

I hate my internet connection. I can't really say anything but BLAH. It's the worst connection I've had since dial-up. Erg, it makes me angry just thinking about it.

Went to camp. Oh my gosh, it was the best year ever. I'll have to have a separate post talking about it because it literally changed my life.

Alright, I know I haven't posted in a while. But hey, I'm busy. Well not really, but I promise a real entry tomorrow. Now it's time for a pimp. =D

Harry Potter Land is a new land community focused on, you guessed it, Harry Potter! With the four teams split up as the four houses, it's sure to be a blast. Whether you're a fan geek (*cough* like me), or if you just like to watch the movies 'cause of Mr. Tom Felton you'll have tons of fun!

I officially freaking love the rain. At least for the next to weeks. Tennis was rained out today, so I got to sleep in and didn't have to deal with those stupid little kids. Seriously, yesterday they taught us how to do the back hand by pretending to slap someone. So for five minutes we stood there stupidly "slapping" someone with the back of our hand. Ugh.

Sadly enough, the forecast for the rest of the two weeks is perfect tennis weather. Ew. I'm sorry that I'm a complainer, it's in my nature. But if you were in my shoes, you'd complain the heck out of it too.

Anyhow, on to a happier subject (if there is one). I'm going to be getting some money at the end of this week. I've been doing some little things around the house to earn some cash, and I'm planning on taking cans and bottles back after tennis to go into my guitar fund. Oh yea, I haven't told you wonderfuls about that yet have I? =D

I'm getting a guitar. Soon. Ish. I need one soon if I'm gonna get one this summer, since I want to take it to camp. And I should know a few songs before I go, since it'd be kind of odd for me to take a guitar if I didn't know any songs. :/ The first song I'm going to learn is Alejandro by Lady Gaga, and I'm crazy excited about it. I've looked over the chords a million times. Oh, and it's an acoustic. I'm hoping for a baby or big baby taylor....which is a freaking amazing guitar.

So I guess I ended on a happy note. =D

That title pretty much explains my entire day. To start, I am not athletic in any way, shape, or form. No one in my family is, really. Sports have never been my thing, and I'm fine with that. But if you know my mother, you'd know if she sets her mind on something a million dollars wouldn't stop her from following through on it.....as long as she isn't the one who has to actually get up and do it.

My therapist (if you could call her one) advised that my mom keep me active this summer, so she's planning on shipping me all around. Sports, religious camp, music camp, nerd camp, boot camp, you name it I'm going this summer. And let me tell you, it stinks.

Anywho, back to tennis. Tennis starts two weeks after school gets out, and runs for 2 weeks for an hour a day. This is my 5th year of doing it, and most of the time I really enjoy it....even though I'm not very good at all. But this year, I was really putting up a fight with it. School got out a week late, so tennis started the monday after school got out. Sucky, eh? On top of that, I didn't want to do squat this summer. But there I went, racket in hand to the tennis courts this morning for tennis. Here comes the fun part.

I walked up (I was a half an hour late because I got my procrastination skills from my mother, and she hadn't even signed me up yet.) and to my surprise, I didn't see any of my friends that were also regulars at tennis camp. Instead, I saw about 10 7-year-olds holding their rackets like humongous pencils. Then there was two of the popular-giggly-omgidontwannatouchthat type girls, a couple teenage boys (who were kinda cute, but annoying nonetheless), one of my friends (whose best friend tagged along so she'll always pick her over me), and then there's me. Oh wait, nevermind. There was a boy with some form of a mental disease who goes to my church so he'll always want to be my partner when we buddy up, and then there's me.

All I could say was CRAP. This is going to be a long two weeks. Wish me luck?

Well LiveJournal, here I am. I don't know if I'm here to stay, but oh well.

I suppose this is where I"m going to be telling you about my life. It's boring as hell, but hey, you're the one who came here. :3 I'll probably join some lands, post some caps, and maybe a few icons here and there. If I'm bored out of my mind.

I don't really know what people post on their first posts. How am I supposed to know? But I guess I'll give you some basics on me.

My name - Via. Is that my real name? Nope. Is it close? Yep. If you guess my real name, I'll bake you a nice little cookie. It's really not hard to guess. My mom and I have a love/hate relationship. I'm young, so I still live at home. People say I'm a mirror of her, which explains why we have a hell of a time spending too much time together. We fight over our internet card seemingly non-stop, as we're both computer addicts. Her with Facebook and match.com, me with TCGs and Myspace.

I'm a self stated math geek. I can do math workbooks, and they put to sleep. Well, they used to in 3rd grade. My math class is 3 grades above my grade level. Yeah, I'm a nerd. +.+

I'm also a choir geek. I love to sing, even though I'm not "the bomb". In fact, some many people say I suck. But I don't care. I like to sing, so why should I let people say whether I'm "good" enough to do it or not? I love the people in my choir. We're all really close, and support each other when another is hurting.
