MITOSIS LAB is more than an event space. Our converted factory building stands for openness, sustainability, and collaboration without rigid hierarchies—values we have shared with NGOs and non-profit organizations for many years.
Thanks to our long-standing experience, we have had the privilege of working with numerous small local associations and non-profit institutions, as well as large international NGOs. We understand that budgets are often limited, which is why we design our spaces, services, and catering in a budget-conscious and needs-oriented way.

Each LAB can be booked individually, but different LABs can also be combined and booked together.

FAQ
We are happy to welcome your corporate events, from meetings to conferences, seminars to workshops, hackathons, team days, brainstorming sessions and beyond.
No, unfortunately not. We cater only to professional events.
Yes, of course. We work with a number of different caterers that accommodate different tastes and budgets and are happy to organise this service for your event. If you have a preferred caterer outside our recommendations that you would like to organise yourself, we are also happy to work with you on that. Drinks, however, must always be provided through Mitosis LAB.
Mitosis LAB welcomes you and your events seven days a week from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. We do offer the possibility to extend those hours, to come earlier in the morning or stay later in the evening until 10:00 pm latest. This is provided at an additional hourly rate.
Unfortunately we cannot offer onsite parking for guests, however there is a carpark located extremely nearby in the Neukölln Arcaden, Karl-Marx-Straße 66, 12043 Berlin.
If you have suppliers or deliveries for your events, we have capacity for unloading onsite.
Is there an outdoor area?
As we are a professional location, we request that all activities remain calm and shouldn’t be heard outside of the LAB you are in, or beyond the garden. This is in order to remain respectful of our neighbours and to other potential events going on concurrently in other LABs.
Yes, of course.
Yes we have an elevator onsite. It is mainly used for staff and internal purposes however we gladly use it to accommodate those who may need accessibility assistance.
Yes, every lab is accessible for wheelchair users or those with mobility issues. As stated we have the elevator, and each LAB is also equipped with an accessible toilet.
Unfortunately not, we only offer a daily rate which covers the entire day from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Each of our LABs is an entire floor, carefully designed to work as a whole, and therefore can only be rented as such.
Yes of course, you are more than welcome to book a combination of the LABs and Mitopia, our garden.
There is no minimum number of participants, although please bear in mind LABs can only be booked as an entire floor for a full day, and the maximum number of guests we can welcome is 150.
We are extremely flexible and willing to tailor the setup to your exact requirements. With that in mind, is very important to have all details discussed and agreed in advance so that we can prepare the room in the way you have requested. If there are some minor things you would like adjusted on the day, please discuss it with the team before making any changes yourself.
We should be able to provide all the event equipment you need, such as pin boards etc, so you should not need to do so. Please let us know in advance exactly what you need for your event so that we can provide it.
We can provide all the event equipment that you need, from flipcharts to beamers, screens, moderation equipment, writing equipment and beyond. Please make sure to let us know in advance so we can cater to your requirements.
We are happy to welcome friendly, clean dogs, as long as they are trained and well looked after during their time with us.
Yes, we work with a VIP bus company and can arrange a transfer from your accommodation to Mitosis LAB in the morning and back again in the evening.
Our staff are an integral part of our specific and unique service approach. We want to ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible so that you can focus solely on the content of your event and so our staff take care to make sure that everything in the LABs are clean, tidy and professional, and that all food and drink service is the same. We wouldn’t be Mitosis LAB without our wonderful staff and so they are part of the package. The amount of staff required depends on the size of the event, the amount of participants and what aspects of service you would like.
