If I would have treasured
The brightest ones of the memories
Inside a couple of lanterns,
I could have send them
To light up your pensive rooms
And ward away the shadows
Of lurking emptiness in you;
For your heart to breathe happily
That seeked for affection since ages,
With half a smile and tears
Oozing out of the past lesions,
Branded on your existence.
