101 things in 1001 days

Are you fed-up with garbage, full-of-shit sites where nobody actually communicates, such as Facebook, Instagram and Tumblr? 43. Change your sheets every four months - Nowadays I change them once a month
47. Go through your cookbooks to makes notes of kitchen equipment you still need - A long list, that one
82. Make an effort to make a dent in your unread 'Christian' books (can even read all if possible) - A small dent, but I keep reading
90. Wear your glasses in public at least once a month - Wear them now daily since now both my eyes need them (and anyway, I look better when I wear them haha)

8. Start getting up immediately after waking up every day - Not always, but don't linger for hours there
21. Listen to more classical music to find more favorites - Radio helps

46. Participate in Earth Hour (each March) - I did, at least one time
53. Save 1000 or 3000 Euros on your card-free bank account - Almost at 2000!
66. Buy and color an entire coloring book - Got one free, but not colored
67. Check at least 5 each of museums and art exhibitions [6/10]
76. Get rid of the 2 habits 'standing in the way' - One success, one still to reach

Only a small success, perhaps because I didn't plan much, or pay attention to the folder the information was in, and partly surely because I forgot - I even forgot that the endtime had passed! (But last year was nuts.) Still, managed to complete or partially-complete some. I do know that I will use this round's uncompleted etc. for the next time, but planning is needed, so it will take some time before I get to posting round #5.

New Progress:

Meet 9 new people at shows/clubs/events
Met 2 new people, but one of them has creepy racist vibes. I didn't specify that they had to be lasting relationships, so...that's 2 down either way.

Start an underground fb page and make 60 posts in 3 months
Nope. Did not happen. Marked as "not started" so I can try again.

Buy a new laptop and/or upgrade computer
Upgraded hard drive, may need to upgrade ram, but since I'm not planning that at the time being and it's functioning better now, I'm going to say this is done.

Play live on Lightworkers
Pretty sure the group closed, so I lost my chance. Marked as failed.

I've not been good about updating here. I usually just scroll through my list on dayzero and update it without keeping track of what I'm changing.

Most recently completed: Back up project files (which means files for the programs I use to make music). It took about 3 days to transfer files (turning off the computer at night) and just finished yesterday.

I know it helps to have motivation from other people's progress, so I'm sorry I haven't updated in so long! Hope the couple of you who are out there are still plugging away at it.

Right after my last update, this actually happened! I moved into an apartment at the beginning of December and it's been really great so far :)

I figured I wouldn't have much for this update, but it looks like I'm actually not doing too bad! I think getting closer to the holidays gives me some extra drive to get stuff done. Let's hope that keeps up and I can get some of these in progress goals actually completed!

Join sync academy
syncacademy.syncmymusic.com/ - I've followed Jesse on Youtube for awhile, and he was doing a challenge that I wanted to participate in. You had to pick a goal and stick to it for 60 days. I picked a terrible goal and gave up right away--should have picked something more specific and more relevant to actually making music. The videos were kind of boring and obvious if you're not a total idiot--his Youtube channel is much more engaging and insightful. I did kind of get the reality check that I'm nowhere near the skill level I need to be at to license music, though, so I unjoined. The community is probably the best aspect and worth the money, so I hope to rejoin when I'm a little better.

Glue piggy bank back together
About 2-3 years ago my daughter dropped and broke a piggy bank that I've had since I was a baby, so I scooped up the pieces and stored them in a grocery bag. I finally got around to piecing it back together. There were 4 huge chunks in clean breaks, so it was much easier than anticipated!

https://www.rachaelattard.com/ - I bought her 3 Steps to Lean Legs program and I love it so much. It took me years to find a fitness routine that worked for my body type and this is it. The fact that she includes a meal plan with easy recipes and plenty of smoothies is a bonus. It's just been really hard to follow lately. I was depressed for awhile, and then I got a job and now I'm just exhausted from work every day.

Create a music blog
I had to meet certain criteria to complete this. I created the blog and one post and decided I do not want to do it at all. There must be another blog concept that will work better for me.

Complete to do list during quarantine
I've kept an old, long to do list for ages. I finally lost it when I created this goal. Therefore, I was unable to complete the goal!

Buy Emily's course
http://www.themillionkisses.org/ - She's a musician who had a limited time course that I was certain I would buy, but I backed out at the last minute and lost the chance.

I think the only new thing I added is Homeschool during the school year. I'm really happy with this, although it's really rough while working full time. Granny graciously offered to help and so I bought a bunch of workbooks to make it easier, even though I had wanted to avoid paper work originally.

Again, not much going on. But I'm actually feeling pretty positive about having any forward momentum at all the longer the pandemic goes on. Plus, just working on #5 has been taking up a lot of my time and energy recently. Not every goal can be completed quickly and easily!
