This studio was founded by Mila, who left a successful international banking career to follow her passion for design. After relocating to southern Spain, she established MIRU to blend timeless aesthetics with a deep respect for place, purpose, and personal expression.

We start with a complimentary 30–60 minute consultation, offered by phone, video, or in person to suit your preference and location. This is a chance to learn more about your space, design goals, and the overall vision for your project. For larger or more complex scopes, a follow-up meeting or site visit may be recommended to gather additional detail and context.
Based on our initial discussion, we prepare a customized proposal outlining the scope of work, deliverables, estimated timeline, and pricing. This ensures transparency from the outset and allows us to align our services with your specific needs.
Once the proposal is approved, we begin developing the creative direction for your space. This includes mood boards, floor plans, material and finish selections, and visual presentations. We work closely with you throughout this phase to ensure the design is not only cohesive and functional, but also reflective of your lifestyle and objectives.
For clients opting for full-service implementation, we manage the execution from start to finish—coordinating with contractors, sourcing furnishings, and overseeing installation. Alternatively, we’re happy to equip you with a comprehensive design package, giving you the tools to move forward at your own pace with confidence.
