New layout. It took a while to make and i'm still not entirely satisfied with it. The header image is a lot less "retro" than I'd imagined.
When I spotted the image on deviantart, I thought it reminded me somewhat of the 60's :S but I guess it looks more like a typical fashion shoot....
Oh well, I'll definitely have to work on another one.

The Stars.
Have you ever taken the time to just sit and stare at the night sky? I have, and I'll tell you what, it's never boring. I've always been fascinated by the stars and planets.
Ofcourse, I'm a quirk so nobody around me really understands my love for star gazing, leading to endless criticisms about it (that I have to deal with) and hardly getting the chance to sit down on our 3rd floor balcony and meander amongst my thoughts and the stars.
It's been a year since I first sat down to look for constellations, planets- anything that would make me FEEL something..a sense of freedom perhaps? I'm probably not making any sense.
So that would fall under just gazing...but I teach myself things about the sky too! I can read the skies. Last month, I spotted saturn right next to the leo constellation. It was, without a doubt, an amazing site! but ofcourse I had to look very closely to see it. Saturn is pretty hard to spot because it's distinguished by sharp light that
kinda flickers. The rainy season just ended, clearing most of the dust in our atmosphere and granting us an untainted sky that lets us see more than we think we can.
I also managed to spot the gemini and virgo constellations.....Next up it's Jupiter. I'll let you know when I've managed to spot that one ;)
Oh and just so we're on the same page, I'm no genius lol I manage to read the skies so well only with a map of it in my hand :P but I'm slowly (very slowly lol) starting to manage without one
Something new on my wishlist - A telescope. :/
Tanzanian Pride.
So I was at a store the other day and I saw some arab lady (who has CLEARLY lived her entire life in TZ) pretending to not know how to speak Kiswahili! :S It came to me as a major shock that someone would feel humiliated to speak a language that is a part of them! I quite frankly am EXTREMELY proud of the fact that I am a fluent Kiswahili speaker. Hell, it adds lots to my character!
Tanzania is my home and Tanzania is my pride.
So I was in a patriotic mood and decided to make a blend on photoshop using some pictures I took on my last trip to Mikumi National Park. It's around an hour and a half away from where I live in Morogoro.

A twin-soul rendezvous?
I was reading the Daily News paper the other day and guess what I spotted? An Ad for applications to the Limkokwing University in Cyberjaya Malaysia! :S
(Noor, isn't that where you're at?)
Well, that's clearly a freakin' sign! Even destiny calls out for the reunion of the long lost twin-souls! LOL
