Hi! I’m Michael Armstrong-Ingram, the creator behind MI Pixel, a small indie game and pixel art studio. I make games, comics, and little nostalgic projects — from silly fan games to roguelike adventures.
I’m passionate about pixel art, quirky gameplay, and storytelling through interactive worlds. I’ve also always loved retro games, movies, and pop culture from the ’80s and ’90s, and that nostalgia heavily inspires my work.
Some of my projects include:
Little Devil – a 2D top-down roguelike adventure with challenging enemies and procedurally generated rooms.
Defend from Candyland! – a fun tower-defense style game I released previously.
Catch Sonic – one of my earliest Game Maker experiments from over 12 years ago, now freely available for anyone to try.
I’m not great at sharing my work on social media, but I’m trying to get better! Follow me for devlogs, artwork, and game updates as I continue building new projects and exploring ideas in pixel art games.
