Miner Mole is a game featuring our intrepid hero, a mole who mines. You want to get Miner Mole off your property and in order to do that, you need to tap him till he runs away. However, Miner Mole is not your run-of-the-mill scared-of-his-own-shadow groundhog type of guy. No siree, Bob! He's got his own miner helmet and everything and he's tough. Tough enough to withstand a single tap. But if you keep tapping on him, the helmet will give way and Miner Mole will be left defenceless. At that point, our hero has no point but to retreat below ground to gather his forces. Or get a new helmet - we don't really know what he does underground, actually. When you tap Miner Mole, he'll sometimes drop stuff. It could be a gem that he'd been carting off to his lair, or a bomb he'd picked up from some pesky human. The gems are fun - they give you a higher score. Of course, there's a catch. (Isn't there always?) The gems are encased in ice and you need to break the ice before you can get at the gem (and all those tasty points for a higher score!) The bombs, on the other hand, do what bombs usually do. They explode. If the bomb's a normal bomb, it will explode and take away one of your precious lives (you only get three). But if it's a jello-encased bomb, then you have some room to negotiate - as long as the bomb is covered in jello, you can tap the bomb and explode it safely. But if the jello disappears, don't tap on that bomb because it just went live. The bombs, when they explode, will take out any visible bombs which are nearby as well. So if you can time a jello bomb explosion, you might be able to take out some of the nearby bombs which are keeping you from getting at that pesky mole! But wait, there's more! (Cue the cheesy 1980s TV infomercial music...) If you keep pushing at Miner Mole, he'll eventually go away and get some of his tougher friends like otters, racoons, and even a groundhog, to come along and lend a hand. They are harder to beat than a regular mole. So you might have to keep tapping away to see how far you can get before Miner Mole gets you. So go on.
