Learning Disorders
At MindWell, we understand that learning challenges come in many forms. Broadly, they fall into two main areas:
- Academic Learning Difficulties (Learning Disabilities – LD) – Challenges in mastering reading, writing, or math due to how the brain processes information.
- Attention or Executive Functioning Difficulties (EFD / ADHD) – Struggles with focus, planning, organization, or self-monitoring that can affect daily life at school, home, or work.
Children and adults with ADHD may seem restless, easily distracted, or impulsive, while those with executive functioning challenges often have trouble starting or completing tasks.
