Recognize the Issue

Learning Disorders

At MindWell, we understand that learning challenges come in many forms. Broadly, they fall into two main areas:

  • Academic Learning Difficulties (Learning Disabilities – LD) – Challenges in mastering reading, writing, or math due to how the brain processes information.
  • Attention or Executive Functioning Difficulties (EFD / ADHD) – Struggles with focus, planning, organization, or self-monitoring that can affect daily life at school, home, or work.

Children and adults with ADHD may seem restless, easily distracted, or impulsive, while those with executive functioning challenges often have trouble starting or completing tasks.

Our evaluations help uncover the “why” behind these struggles—so we can guide you toward practical strategies and support that foster confidence and success.

Individuals with ADHD may show signs of inattention, distractibility, impulsivity, or restlessness—often noticeable at school, at home, and in social settings. Those with learning differences (LD) may have brain-based processing challenges that make reading, writing, or math more difficult. At MindWell, we help identify these challenges and provide clear guidance and support to help each person thrive.
