About Mindfully Unbroken

Welcome to Mindfully Unbroken! My name is Deb, and I created this space to offer free mental health support to anyone in need. As someone who has faced severe chronic anxiety, manic depressive disorder, dissociative identity disorder (DID), and PTSD, I know how isolating and overwhelming it can feel to navigate mental illness. That’s why I’ve dedicated myself to building an online community where people can come together, share their experiences, and find support.

Here, you’ll find a safe, judgment-free environment where mental health is prioritized. Whether you’re struggling or supporting a loved one, Mindfully Unbroken is a place to connect, heal, and grow. Our community spans across platforms, including our Discord server and Facebook group, ensuring that help is always just a click away.

I’m passionate about mental health advocacy and work tirelessly to provide resources, encouragement, and connection. Together, we can break the stigma and walk the path toward healing, one mindful step at a time.

My Vision

My vision for Mindfully Unbroken is to create a thriving, supportive online community where everyone feels safe, heard, and valued. I want to break down the barriers and stigma surrounding mental health by offering a space where people can connect and find strength in each other’s stories.

Through free mental health support, I hope to empower individuals to embrace their journeys, knowing they are never alone. Together, we can create a compassionate community that fosters healing, personal growth, and the belief that no matter what challenges we face, we can remain unbroken.

Why I Use the Phoenix

The phoenix represents rebirth, resilience, and rising from the ashes of hardship—just like many of us who struggle with mental health challenges. I chose the phoenix for Mindfully Unbroken because it symbolizes the power we all have to rebuild, no matter how many times we fall.

Like the phoenix, we may experience darkness and despair, but we also have the strength to rise again, stronger than before. For me, the phoenix is a reminder that healing is a journey, and though we may be broken at times, we can always rebuild and reclaim our strength.

About Me

I’m Deb, the founder of Mindfully Unbroken. I’m a single mom, writer, content creator, and mental health advocate. I’m a survivor of severe chronic anxiety, manic depressive disorder, DID, and PTSD. My own experiences inspired me to create this space where others can find support, understanding, and community. When I’m not working on Mindfully Unbroken, I’m a cashier at my local grocery store and I’m raising my amazing daughter, Olivia. In May of 2024, I graduated from Full Sail University, with my associate’s degree in Creative Writing.
