Joe Mullen

President of MindEdge Learning

As President of MindEdge Learning, Joe Mullen leads MindEdge’s sales and marketing efforts and manages MindEdge’s key partnerships. Mr. Mullen comes to MindEdge from PowerSchool where he led sales for PowerSchool’s Higher Education Division – PeopleAdmin. Prior to that, Mr. Mullen held various sales and sales management roles at Jenzabar Inc., a leading Higher Ed ERP company. Mr. Mullen earned a B.A. from the University of Connecticut and a Master’s Degree in Education from Northeastern University. He currently lives in Denver, CO with his wife and three kids, where they enjoy many of the great outdoor activities Colorado has to offer.

Hugo Lallo

Chief of Technology and Staff

Hugo Lallo serves as MindEdge’s Chief of Technology and Staff, focusing on daily operations, resource management, and strategic leadership. Mr. Lallo has more than 13 years of experience as a software engineer, spanning a vast array of senior and C-level positions. Prior to joining MindEdge, Mr. Lallo was the lead software engineer at Zume Inc. where he led a team of engineers focused on customer success. Prior to that, he was chief technology officer at Stage Fund as well as chief technology officer/chief information officer at DN2K LLC. He also held roles at Wavecloud, Arrow Electronics, and ITriage LLC.

Emily Hemingway

VP, Editorial and Instructional Design

As VP of Editorial and Instructional Design, Emily Hemingway leads the editorial and instructional design team in developing and delivering high-quality educational content for all learners. Prior to MindEdge, Ms. Hemingway was editor in chief of an independent educational publishing house that specialized in creating social and emotional learning books and resources for educators and students. Ms. Hemingway also spent many years as an educator and school leader. She received an undergraduate degree from Barnard College at Columbia University and holds an MFA in writing from Simmons University and an M.Ed. in curriculum and instruction from Lesley University.

Amanda Malgeri

VP, Creative

As VP of Creative, Amanda Malgeri oversees MindEdge’s visual content strategy. Ms. Malgeri leads a team of graphic designers, video editors, and videographers, managing creative projects that drive user engagement and advance brand awareness. Ms. Malgeri holds degrees in journalism, business administration, and web design from Northeastern University and UMass Lowell.

Jennifer Adams

VP, Marketing

As the VP of Marketing, Jennifer Adams focuses on developing strategies to bring increased awareness and reach to MindEdge and its brands. As an Agile Certified Scrum Master, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and certified Project Management Professional (PMP®), she brings over 20 years of project management, process development, and communications and marketing strategy to her role. Before coming to MindEdge, Ms. Adams spent several years focusing on communications, marketing, and brand awareness for the University of New Hampshire’s alumni relations and communications and public affairs departments. Ms. Adams holds a degree in mass communications with a specialization in visual communications from the University of South Florida.

Stephanie Herman

Managing Director, Acuity Institute

Stephanie Herman is the Managing Director of Acuity Institute. With over 20 years of expertise in customer service and continuous improvement, she has established a superior team of experts and support specialists serving Acuity’s corporate clients and students around the world. As a Master Black Belt, she has managed numerous Lean and Lean Six Sigma deployments for several Fortune 500 companies, non-profit corporations, and public-entity corporations including the Metro Transit Authority of New York, MaineHealth, and Newmont Mining. Mrs. Herman has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and is a Change Management Professional. She is a sports enthusiast who lives in the beautiful state of Colorado with her family but no, she’s not a skier.
