Affordable Care
We understand that therapy is a long-term commitment and investment. That’s why we try to offer a wide range of fees and sliding scale options for those in financial need. We are also in-network with Aetna and do everything we can to assist with out-of-network reimbursement.
Experts in Complex Trauma
Our clinicians are all extensively trained (or in training) in theory, research, and treatment of complex trauma, including dissociation, chronic suicidality, and psychosis. We are more than just “trauma-informed”. Working with complex issues is what we do.
Free Consultation
Finding the right fit is an extremely important step in the healing journey. That’s why we always offer a free phone consultation to answer any questions you may have and make sure that we are able to provide you with quality care. There is never any expected commitment.

Frequently Asked Questions
We get that choosing a therapist can be a daunting and overwhelming process. We want to help you make the best decision for yourself and are happy to answer any questions you may have. Below are some of the most common. You can also visit our FAQs page which offers more in-depth information or schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation to discuss further!
You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Many people come in because they feel overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or simply want to understand themselves better. If something in your life isn’t working the way you’d like, therapy can help you make sense of it and move forward with more clarity and confidence.
The specifics of trauma therapy are about understanding how your past is impacting your current life and relationships, knowing how to work through the complexities of chronic trauma, and slowly building a life that is no longer controlled by the past. You can also click on our trauma therapy page to learn more.
Integrative psychotherapy combines different evidence-based approaches to support you as a whole person. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all method, we tailor therapy to your unique needs—drawing from techniques like DBT, insight-oriented work, IFS, attachment-based, and mindfulness-based approaches. The goal is to help you gain clarity, develop practical tools, and create lasting change.
We work with individuals experiencing:

If you’re unsure whether your concerns fit, feel free to reach out and ask.
Prior to scheduling an initial session, we offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to make sure that we can potentially meet your needs and to offer you the opportunity to ask any relevant questions. The first intake session is a chance for us to get to know each other a little bit. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what you’re hoping for, and the history of your concerns, collaborating on next steps and shared goals. There’s no pressure or commitment – Finding a therapist that feels right to you is the most important step in finding care.
The length of therapy depends on your goals and what you’re working through. Some clients come for short-term support around a specific issue, while others choose longer-term work for deeper exploration and growth. We’ll regularly check in to make sure therapy is meeting your needs.
That’s more common than you might think. Not every therapy experience is the right fit and not every trauma-informed therapist actually specializes in complex trauma. Our integrative approach is flexible and tailored, which often helps clients who felt stuck or unsupported in previous therapy experiences.
MindClear Integrative Psychotherapy is focused on getting to the root of your issues rather than just telling you what you want to hear or offering a band-aid. Although many therapists have become trauma-informed in recent years (which is great!), our clinicians have extensive training and experience (or are in the process of training) in theory, research, and the treatment of complex trauma and dissociation. We do our best to tailor our approach to meet your individual needs and to understand you where you’re at.
