Midnight hacks is a 24-hour hackathon designed for beginner coders with the purpose of not only to introduce high school and middle school to the world of coding and technology, but also to equip them with the empowering programmer mindset to help them tackle any future event problem!

Given the date of our hackathon, we want to bounce off the Halloween themes from the month previous and prepare our attendees for the next amazing opportunity of New York Code Days from the month after.

We'll have cool workshops and speakers, and tons of small challenges so that everyone gets to create something!

Due to Covid-19, our event will be virtual this year, so even if you're not in New York, you're absolutely welcome to join! We'd love to have you here!

Requirements

You should submit a 5 minute video (or less) describing and demoing your project!

This video should include:

  • A description of your project
  • A visual demonstartion of what your project does
  • A brief overview on what you and your team learned over the course of the event (and the struggles you may have encountered if possible)
