Brexit Highlights 24 February – 1 March 2020

– A new policy paper was produced by the Prime Minister’s Office – Our approach to the Future Relationship with the EU

– An independent report was published An inspection of the EU Settlement Scheme (April 2019 to August 2019)

– The House of Commons Library produced new research briefings – EU Settlement Scheme; Brexit and state pensions

– A new blog post was published on the Office for National Statistics blog – Study the biggest driver of migration to the UK, but overall levels remain stable

– A new monitoring report was published by the Senedd Research (National Assembly of Wales) – Negotiations on the UK’s withdrawal from the EU

– A new briefing was produced by the Scottish Parliament’s Information Centre – EU-UK future relationship negotiations issue 1- February 2020

– The Council of the European Union adopted a decision authorising the opening of negotiations for a new partnership with the UK. More information can be found here, including Negotiating directives.
