Micronic offers Non-Coded and Alphanumeric Coded sample storage tubes that fit the 96-well, 48-well or 24-well ANSI/SLAS format racks. Available in volumes from 0.30 ml to 6.00 ml, these tubes provide cost-effective solutions for a wide range of laboratory storage needs. Non-Coded tubes are the most economical choice for standard storage, while Alphanumeric Coded tubes simplify visual identification through rack position coding (A1–H12) on the tube bottom. Micronic also offers specialty tubes, such as the Tubestrip-8 and Amber tubes for light sensitive samples.
Manufactured from high-purity, medical-grade polypropylene in a certified Class 7 cleanroom, the tubes are free from detectable RNase and DNase contamination and are suitable for use in biobanking and long-term sample storage. They remain stable in temperatures from Vapor Phase LN2 to +100 °C.
To support different applications, the tubes are available with a variety of bottoms: V-bottom for optimal recovery, U-bottom or round bottom to maximize volume, flat bottom tubes for solid samples.
Micronic Non-Coded and Alphanumeric Coded tubes can be sealed with TPE push caps, EVA push caps, or screw caps, offering flexibility for storage and handling in sample testing environments, including genomics, cell biology, and microbiology labs.
Additionally, the tubes can be supplied gamma irradiated or treated with ethylene oxide, without compromising product performance.
