PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

The Michigan Council on Economic Education uses the multiplier effect to reach students through their teachers. We invest in teachers who, in turn, reach thousands of students over the course of their career. We offer professional development in economics and personal finance both face to face and through on demand platforms.


Complete this Google Form to be awarded SCECH for your completion of Council for Economic Education professional development. Within 24 hours of completing a professional development webinar with the Council for Economic Education, you will receive a certificate of completion. Please upload the document to our Google Form for MCEE to be able to verify completion and award you SCECH.

The Financial Intelligence Teacher (FIT) Certification offers online training and assessment to empower educators with personal finance knowledge and instructional intelligence. Certification is awarded to teachers who pass the FIT Certification Test, a comprehensive assessment based on the latest Jump$tart and Council for Economic Education National Standards for Personal Financial Education. By achieving this certification, educators showcase their readiness to teach personal finance and their commitment to empowering the next generation through financial intelligence.

K-12 educators, it’s tough to participate in professional development and still be in the classroom with your students. Our webinars make learning and earning PD credit a snap! Within 24 hours of completing a professional development webinar with the St. Louis Fed, you will receive a certificate of completion. Please upload the document to our Google Form for MCEE to be able to verify completion and award you SCECH.
