Writing

Final Draft 13 is the screenwriting software I've used on every TV show and movie I've worked on. It's the industry standard.

The offered me a brand deal which I quickly accepted because I love the product so much. Use the link below to purchase or upgrade to Final Draft 13.

You'll Save 25% on a new purchase or $55 on the upgrade.

Scrivener is the word processing software I use when writing books. It's  incredibly robust. Unlike other word processing programs, it's intentionally designed for authors. Highly recommend.

Vellum is what I used to self-publish my book, A Paper Orchestra. It allows you to import your draft from Scrivener, and from there, you can easily design what the book actually looks like. From there, you export the book and upload to Amazon, Kindle, Apple Books, etc. If you're writing something complicated, like a cookbook with lots of photos, then Vellum might not be for you. But for a novel or collection of short stories, it's probably perfect

Pentel Sharp is the mechanical pencil I use. Given that I've used the same one for almost 40 years, it's safe to say that it's high quality.

Clothing

A few people on social media have commented about clothing. I find it puzzling that anyone would want to look like me, but here goes:

Legendary Whitetails the brown jacket I'm often seen wearing. Mine is tobacco, but I'm certain I'd look fabulous in every color.

Red Wings Classic Moc Toe is the boot that you'll often see resting on my desk, or on the neck of a thug who owes me money.

Red Wings Iron Ranger is my other pair of kick ass boots. When I'm fighting crime, I'll often slide these babies on.
