The veggie flatbread was extremely good, and their Bannock is amazing as well. Can't say enough good things about their food really. Very impressive.

I learned so much, ate the best food ever. Plus to see bison, elk and the horses up close? Truly blessed.

Highly recommend. I went with my wheelchair bound mother and had no issues. We went to see the white bison, elk and more. All staff was very knowledgable about Métis culture.

My husband and I went on a couple winter retreat over the Family Day long weekend for my husband's 50th birthday. It was blast. The food is locally source and Metis inspired. The staff was friendly. The guides are very knowledgeable and proud of their culture.

The canoe trip from Waskatenau to your lodge is peaceful, beautiful, and fairly easy. We saw about 8 bald eagles and a pair of golden eagles. The trip took us 3.5 hours with minimal paddling. Your landing point is easy to find.
