Searching for eBooks: Home

eBooks

There are multiple ways for you to be able to access eBooks based on your needs.

Discovery Tool

Using the Discovery Service allows you to search every database, resource, and physical book the Methodist College Library has to offer. There are two ways to access it:

  • Use the above link that takes you directly to the database. Proceed to type the title or keywords for what you're looking for. This will proceed to pull up all sources related to it that the Library has for you to access.
  • From the homepage of the Library website, the search bar at the very top is automatically set to the Discovery tool. Proceed to type the title or keywords for what you're looking for. This will proceed to take you to the database and pull up all sources related to it that the Library has for you to access.

Ebsco

EBSCO, one of the Library's largest databases, provides multiple different options for searching for eBooks. Here are two databases you can browse depending on your needs:

Another option for searching for eBooks through EBSCO for when you may be required to narrow your search further is by entering an EBSCO database. From there, underneath the large title "Search articles, books, journals & more," you'll find a hyperlink showing you what database you're searching through. Clicking on that will give you access to other EBSCO databases, including multiple eBook collections to narrow your search.

Ovid
