Season features world-class productions for students from PreK through Grade 12

Following a special event celebrating our region’s educators, the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center is proud to reveal the 2026-27 Amcor Education Series. This announcement comes on the heels of a historic season in which the Center officially welcomed its 500,000th student attendee to the Amcor Education Series since opening its doors in 2002, marking a monumental achievement in Northeast Wisconsin’s commitment to arts-integrated learning.

Appleton Airport announces another record-breaking travel year in 2025

Sun Country Airlines will launch its inaugural flight from Appleton International Airport (ATW) today with a full flight. The carrier is the fifth airline to offer service at ATW and will have nonstop seasonal service to Fort Myers (RSW) from January 30, 2026, through April 13, 2026. Flights will depart twice weekly, with service increasing to four times a week starting in mid-March.

Over the past 10 years, this campaign has generated more than $3.3 million to support initiatives focused on community enhancement, basic needs, education and financial literacy within the regions we serve. The City of Menasha announced today the official completion of the Racine Street reconstruction project, between Third Street and Ninth Street in Menasha. Racine Street, a critical thoroughfare linking downtown Menasha to the WIS 441/USH 10 highway, underwent full reconstruction in early spring and was opened ahead of scheduled in October. The project features new concrete pavement, new sidewalk, traffic signal upgrades, new pavement markings, and an improved railroad crossing.

Racewalking clinic helps competitive walkers improve their form with expert guidance

The Community First Fox Cities Marathon Presented by Miron Construction will host a free racewalking clinic to help walkers looking to improve their racewalking technique. The clinic will be led by two-time U.S. Olympic trials qualifier and three-time national champion Jordan Crawford and two-time Olympic trials qualifier Bricyn Healey. The racewalking clinic will take place on Saturday, May 10, at 10 a.m. at Community First Credit Union’s headquarters, located at 1575 Dresang Way in Neenah.
