It's been a while. I miss you all & I miss my livejournal & icons. Due to my busy life, I didn't post any for ages & as a compensation for the past 7 or 8 months, I am posting today a massive number of one of my best icons (142 icons = Code Geass 39 + Bleach 103) & two wallpapers. This bunch brings back wonderful memories of 2008 & 2010, especially the Romeo X Juliet ones.The Japanese version was perfect ! I was truly touched by every single moment of the story. The first two episodes were excellent to make my first colorful animated icons. I made them with pure passion & love <3. Death Note & Vampire Knight were no exception.

Green
Green has always associated with life, growth & nature. It is the most restful color for the human eye & vision, which indicates hope & healing powers.
Those who love green are mostly lucky for having compassionate, generous, kind, intelligent, nurturing, strong-willed & faithful personality with high morals. I ended up with 190 greenish icons between mint green, pale green, yellow green, lime green, grass green & dark green.

This is my second Icon coloring tutorial & as you can tell I am obsessed with bright colors & coloring, but sometimes I crave for old time pictures (a pure sacred color + a color of a dark night with a hint of grey). So I decided to make this simple easy tutorial, without going through curves & levels layers.

So, let's begin
1- Crop, sharpen & desaturate your image by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+U.
2- Add a solid color layer, fill it with #e7e7e7 & set it to Overlay Opacity 100%.
* Some images might appear too bright after this step, if so reduce the opacity until you get a proper result.
3- Add another solid color layer, fill it with #dbdbdb & set it to Multiply Opacity 25%.
4- Add a selective color layer & set it to Normal Opacity 100%
Black: 0, 0, 0, +100
* If you want the black to be more intense, duplicate the selective color layer.
And we're done =)
