I do this thing where with OTPs and even just ships in general, I try to imagine them in both romantic and aromantic situations. Like, okay, this ship maybe doesn't "ship", but platonic relationships are just as wonderful (sometimes moreso, because instead of focusing on the ~romance~ its all about mutual respect and affection without the draw of physical pleasure).
My OTP to end all OTPs is Gokudera and Tsuna because they can go either way so easily. You can read into their relationship, or you can just enjoy it as it is. (This is actually true of most ships in KHR. 8059 might not be an OTP of mine, but I can definitely see why people like it and enjoy it as such.) The thing that makes me sad about 5927 is that--however I'm looking at them--I always tend to start leaning towards the angsty/sad/depression side of things (there are many such sides of 5927) and then I get sad. I can handle a bit of food poisoning, horrid as it is. The little kids that were also at that particular store at that time? Probably couldn't.
2. I AM GOING TO EUROPE IN ONE WEEK I am so excited but SO FRIGGIN STRESSED. The flight Kris and I were going to take from Rome to Paris fell through so it's last minute scrambling all over the place. Patrick is a godsend, stg, finding us another flight so quickly, if for nearly $100 more. As long as we get up to Paris in good time, I'll take just about anything.
3. Cosplayed an Ancestor this year for AN, and was so very happy to see Companions everywhere. There was one (two?) other Ancestors, but they were around Friday and Saturday, when my costume was not quite complete and so I didn't get to meet them properly. Got one hell of a hug from a Companion, though, so everything is happy.
4. God do I miss KHR. I'm trying to think of things to do in the meantime, but there are no new books that I want to read, no games I'm interested in playing, no things I want to make. The house is clean, I'm basically packed.... Need moar KHR. Probably going to start re-reading it. Anyone with me?

Basically it's a crossover from hell, born from my love of the Drakengard series and the SG series and I had just started reading the Inheritance Series, so. After an accident (read: kidnapping gone horribly wrong), Tsuna is left without the ability to use Flame. In fact, aside from his Hyper Intuition and the Blood, everything otherwise needed to be the Don Vongola has been sealed away, with no apparent method to undo this. Vongola needs a Don, needs the Tresnisette to maintain their superiority, but Tsuna just doesn't cut it anymore in terms of day-to-day dealings--so, aside from extreme scenarios--they generally leave Tsuna to his own devices. The Guardians are always busy doing Guardian-like things, though, and the rest of the Castle staff don't interact with him either because of awe or fear (or anger at such a useless Don), and so Tsuna gets... lonely. Enough so he decides to return to Japan and his mother. It's almost like the way it was before Reborn.
What no one bothered to check was if (instead of just taking things away) the process used actually gave something in return. A couple things, actually, and with Haru's ever so thoughtful gift of a certain costume, Tsuna finds a new path in life. And if that path takes him everywhere and anywhere imaginable, well, that's just an added bonus.

And first time ever an entire government has been found in contempt. One thing I will say about the Conservatives is that they take lessons from Vongola. When they do something, dumb, illegal, or otherwise, they don't pull their punches.

First of all, I'm so behind on both comments and flist. I APOLOGIZE. Life has been steadily eating all my time, though admittedly a lot of it is my own fault. (Three coats, the Yuuko suit, two different polonaise and a multi-layered kimono, aka at least three separate actual kimonos layered. Why did I think this was a good idea?) Give me a couple hours to actually do grocery for the first time in three weeks (ramen, how would I live without you?), and then there will be replies! And comments! And then I can get back to being an idiot and filling my life with too many things at once.

God. I don’t even know. This is what happens when I spend hours and hours and HOURS working on a stupid map for a stupid WIP. That I love to little bits.
No, this has nothing to do with geography. Just a mental image I’ve had stuck in my head for about forever and won’t. Leave. And was largely the influence for the actual architecture of this city. (I’m putting this much effort into something that will probably never see the light of day. Ahahaha whut? I totally have my priorities straight.)

Before I post my results: WTH, QUIZ. Asking "Earth versus Sky" is NOT a question you ask someone who knows anything about KHR. NOT. FAIR. Also: wow, this quiz. Considering you choose basically which of two things appeals to you more, I was so surprised by what I ended up choosing half the time.
