Our Story
A journey of passion & precision
McDowell Mountain Builders is a family owned and operated custom homebuilding company based in Scottsdale, Arizona. Owner and founder, David Diltz, opened the doors in 2018 and was later joined by his wife Jennifer and their son Stephen.
David started the company with one employee in the field and David initially did everything from construction and project management to accounting and marketing. As he began building a base of Scottsdale home improvement clients, the company quickly grew through referral. While David remains hands on in all aspects of the business and client relations, he has developed a strong team of skilled craftsmen, project managers & Scottsdale home remodelers to work with him on the company’s growing portfolio of custom remodels and new builds.
