Jack McCombs built this company on a belief that has not changed in 52 years: show up, do the work right, and charge a fair price. That standard carried McCombs from a small family operation into one of Northwest Florida's most recognized names in electrical and HVAC service. Jack's influence extended well beyond Milton. He served on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Home Builders and played a direct role in developing Florida's first energy code, helping shape the standards that govern how homes are built and powered across the state to this day. In 2012, he was inducted into the Florida Housing Hall of Fame, recognition of a career spent building the communities McCombs still serves.
Jack's son Mike joined the company in 1974, and the two ran the business together for nearly five decades. When Jack passed in 2023, Mike carried the company forward and ensured the transition to new ownership honored everything the family had built. Josh Rogers purchased McCombs in November 2024, committed to preserving what the family had built while bringing engineering precision to the next chapter.

Josh holds Florida Engineer License 75495, a credential that requires passing the rigorous NCEES Professional Engineer examination and demonstrating engineering competency at a level beyond standard trade licensing. In practical terms, it means the person responsible for every job McCombs takes on has the engineering background to diagnose problems accurately, specify the right solution, and stand behind the work with professional accountability that most shops simply cannot offer.
