The Rural Street Community Garden, a Place for Learning and Growing!

The Rural Street Community Garden is a neighborhood green space where residents can grow food, learn new skills, and connect with their community.

The garden features raised beds, seating areas, and open gathering space used for workshops, volunteer projects, and neighborhood events.

Current programming includes the Adopt-a-Plot Program, where residents steward individual garden beds while contributing to the care of the overall space. The garden also hosts Summers in the Garden, a seasonal workshop series focused on gardening, wellness, food, and financial education.

Located in the Martindale-Brightwood neighborhood, the garden provides an accessible outdoor space for residents, families, and volunteers to gather, learn, and help maintain shared community land.
